Join Propel Dance's Autumn/Winter 2026 Tour

Propel Dance is recruiting Disabled manual wheelchair dancers to join our professional touring company for our Autumn/Winter 2026 production.

We're looking for playful, passionate and creative performers who are interested in collaborating, co-creating and learning new choreography. If you have some experience of professional dance or performance, we'd love to hear from you. If you're at an earlier stage in your career but feel this opportunity is right for you, we still encourage you to apply.

Successful applicants will work with Artistic Director & Choreographer Helen Mason, learning and performing a repertoire of solo, duo and group work to be presented at venues across the Midlands.

Key Information

    •    Paid freelance opportunity – the rate is £150 per day, plus travel and accommodation where required.

    •    Applications are open to Disabled artists at all career stages.

    •    Stage One: Submit a video, showreel, written or audio application (maximum 3 minutes).

    •    Application deadline: 17 July 2026 at 5pm.

    •    Stage Two: Selected applicants will be invited to an in-person audition in Birmingham on 1 August 2026 (11am–3pm).

    •    Tour commitment: October and November 2026, with additional performances in December 2026 and February 2027.
